Bright copper-orange body with a distinctive black triangular patch starting behind the dorsal fin and extending toward the tail. Laterally compressed, streamlined body with transparent fins. Males are slightly slimmer and more intensely colored; females are slightly rounder with paler colors.

Omnivorous; feeds on high-quality flakes, pellets, and frozen foods. Supplement with live foods such as daphnia, brine shrimp, and micro worms. Occasional blanched vegetables like zucchini or spinach support health and coloration.
Harlequin Rasboras are excellent for community aquariums due to their peaceful nature, vibrant coloration, and active schooling behavior. They add charm and movement to planted tanks.
